Victorian Lithograph 'Brer Fox is Trapped'

An amazing old & most unusual Lithographic Print that is in great condition for age....wonderful depth and clarity of colours and detail. The fox is caught in a sprung trap and has the remnants of a devoured Chook next to him...the wee boy is scolding him and pointing at the Chook Pen whilst clasping his club...and his 'mate' is also getting in on the act from over the fence. There are some small imperfections but generally in very good order for age. Measures 17 1/4 x 14 1/4" in frame.
