The Bell Medal was presented by the society of miniature rifle clubs.....it is undated & unnamed in Mint Condition in original Presentation Case with the makers name in Gilt "A.R. LINDLEY" OF BEDFORD, Watchmaker & Jeweller. Obverse. depicts THE BELL MEDAL Statue and four men with rifles around; Reverse. has a High relief wreath around edge, within wreath -Presented by The Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs. The term "MINIATURE RIFLE" was used for small bore rifles. The first medals specific to competitions are from 1907, 1908 and 1909 for the Queen Alexandra Cup, then in 1909 for the Bell Trophy and Dewar International Match, and in 1911 for the Daily Express Competition. The Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs had a later name change to The National small bore Rifle Association. The medal ceased in 1939. The Medal is 38mm diameter & weighs 30gms. Made of bronze,
