Victorian Top Hat With Leather Carry Case - Circa late 1800's England

Great old Beaver skin Top Hat with leather case. The hat has the makers name HEWETT & Co of Ryde & South Sea......silk interior lining is somewhat torn due to age. The hat has only minor wear signs to exterior. Inner band circumference is 22 inches and measure from inner front to back is 7 1/2" with diameter of 6 inches. The leather case has been well used....some splits to edges of the lid and a bit missing off one strap end but otherwise in good order. Fabulous DISPLAY PIECE for Pubs / Restaurants /Retail shops .....or as a PROP for theatres / plays etc.
