Fashioned in beaten copper we think this lovely item dates to around 1870-1880....it has minor Art Nouveau or Jugendstil decoration around the base where as the later pieces dating from 1890-1910 generally carried much heavier Jugendstil influence. Item is with our Jewelers right now having the lid hinge attended to. Approximate height of the Jug is 11-12". Compare our price to other similar pieces being offered online...this is a bargain.
